The Inse Cordless Vacuum is not a Dyson. Let’s get that clear right away.

But I can’t be the only one who just can’t seem to bring themselves to spend that much money on a vacuum, right?

“We need a cordless handheld vacuum,” my wife said ahead of Amazon’s Prime Day.

So with my marching orders, I was ready to pounce when a deal came our way. And it wasn’t long before the Inse Cordless Vacuum was highlighted during a Lightning Deal.

If you’ve never heard of Inse cordless vacuums, neither had I.

But for $139.99 it seemed like a good deal and had positive ratings, so feeling like mission accomplished, I hit purchase.

Cleaning with the Inse Cordless Vacuum

Our entire main floor with a very small exception is hardwood.

With two boys, a dog, a house full of friends on summer days, our floors are in a steady state of nasty. Dirt, water, any number of various food and beverage spillage, they take a beating.

While we have an equal division of chores, my wife does the floor cleaning.

It used to consist of two step process. First, Swiffering all the crumbs, hair and legos to little piles around the house and then going around with a Black and Decker Dustbuster to pick up each individual pile.

Not anymore. The Inse Cordless Vacuum has turned the entire process into one seamless event, saving time and back ache.

Plus, the boys actually think it’s fun to use. They willingly (at least occasionally) offer to do some cleaning and are marching around the house sucking up everything they can find.

Inse’s Key Features

Again, this is not a Dyson and shouldn’t be compared to it. However, it does everything we need it to and does it very well.

According to the website the vacuum is engineered with the following features:

  • 25Kpa Ultra-Strong Suction – the INSE S610 cordless stick vacuum cleaner is engineered to facilitate efficient, thorough cleaning and enable effective pet hair pickup.
  • 2500mAh Battery – the extended capacity battery ensures an ample power supply to the motor and supports two power settings for effortless operation.
  • 5-Stage Cyclone Filtration System – upgraded HEPA filter enables capturing 99.97% of pollen, dust, animal dander, etc. for a more thorough clean.
  • 1.2L Super Large Dustbin – enables ample storage of debris and waste, and one press design keeps your hands clean.

Here’s what I like about it. There are LED lights on the front that let you see under the cupboards to get the specks of who knows what that you can’t see.

The extension pole is a nice length to adapt for both the height of my wife and myself.

There are also several accessories that allow you to easily move from floors, to stairs, the couch and even the car seats if you want.

If I had one request it would be a bit more suction but for $139.99 on Prime Day it’s hard to argue with the success we’ve had with it so far.

The manufacture says it takes about 5.5 hours to fully charge and will last for 40 – 45 minutes. We’ve never run it for that long and it works perfectly for our daily strolls around the kitchen, hallways, living/dining room and back door. It sucks everything up without hesitation and makes the whole process easy.

We ran into one issue with too much fur getting clogged in the extension pole, but that was resolved quickly with a few tugs and out it came freeing up the full suction once again.

Finally, it boasts of a large collection bin which makes needing to empty it less frequently a nice benefit and a replaceable HEPA filter to keep dust out of the air.

Would I Recommend?

At this point, absolutely.

It does exactly what we were hoping and needing it to do. Make cleaning our floors quick and painless.

Even with a regular retail price of $169.79 I think you’re still getting a pretty good deal.

Do I expect it to last me years and years? No, not really. And maybe that’s the difference between an Inse Cordless Vacuum and a Dyson, the longevity expectation.

However, at this stage of life with young boys who always want to “help,” handing over expensive items for them to use, doesn’t seem like a strong investment either.

We’ll stick to clean floors at a very affordable price and be quite happy with ourselves!
