Nestled in the heart of breathtaking Central Oregon, Stoneridge Townhomes Sunriver beckons residents to experience the perfect blend of relaxation and outdoor adventure.

I’ve been visiting Sunriver since I was a child, taking annual trips for years with my family and learning to ski on Mt. Bachelor.

Now, with a family of my own, we visit Sunriver and the Stoneridge Townhomes at least once a year for the perfect family getaway.

A Brief History of Sunriver, Oregon

Following a short stint as Camp Abbot, a WWII training facility from 1942-1944, the current development of Sunriver was born in the 1960s as a vision of a residential and resort community.

Now, Sunriver has grown into a year-round haven. Skiing all winter and golf and abundant outdoor activities in the summer, it’s a year-round playground for all ages.

Filled with bike paths for miles, a community indoor/outdoor swimming pool called the SHARC, fishing, hiking, star gazing and more, Sunriver is more than just a destination, it’s an experience.

Sitting just 15 miles south of Bend in Central Oregon, travel is quite easy for most.

Portlanders and others living on the west side of the Cascade Mountain Range can easily make the 3.5(ish) hour drive through scenic terrain. Even during winter months, roads are kept mostly clear of snow and accessible.

For those coming a bit further, the Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) serves as a convenient gateway, allowing for a quick and scenic drive to Sunriver. Whether opting for a car rental or alternative transportation, the journey to Sunriver is a prelude to the beauty that awaits.

Indulging in Local Treats at Goody’s

No visit to Sunriver is complete without a sweet treat from Goody’s. I’m not sure I’ve ever visited Sunriver and NOT stopped in Goody’s.

This local institution has been crafting delectable candies and chocolates since 1984. Indulge in their handmade fudge, caramel apples, or a classic cone of ice cream.

Yes, ice cream in freezing, snowy weather is perfectly acceptable.

Goody’s is not just confectionery destination; it’s a cherished part of Sunriver’s landscape.

Sunriver Village Mall

Exploring the Sunriver Village Mall is a favorite pastime, where charming shops and restaurants are open year-round.

Whether you’re looking for unique souvenirs or craving a delightful meal, the mall offers a diverse array of options. It also has several shops to rent skis, bikes, inter tubes for rafting and more.

Wander through the boutiques, grab a cup of coffee, and immerse yourself in the laid-back atmosphere of Sunriver.

As an Oregonian, I find Stoneridge Townhomes to be luxurious enough to spoil our family but cozy enough to feel like you’re visiting home.

We have been staying at Stoneridge Townhomes in Sunriver for the last five years and enjoy it every single time. In fact, we’ve repeatedly considered buying into the fractional (not time share) ownership.

Positioned near the main entrance to the Sunriver community, the Stoneridge Townhomes are centrally located to many of the popular activities in the area.

It’s only a short walk to the Sunriver mall, home of Sunriver Brewing, the infamous Goody’s candy shoppe, the Sunriver grocery store, boutiques and more. It’s perfectly located for everything you need.

Cozy Elegance in Every Townhome

Stoneridge Townhomes exude the Pacific Northwest’s signature rustic charm and modern convenience.

Whether seeking a snug couple’s retreat or a spacious family-friendly haven, each townhome reflects the region’s casual touch.

The interiors boast a warm ambiance, with decor that effortlessly captures the essence of our Pacific Northwest lifestyle.

Enough Space for All

Each townhome is configured in a variety of ways – a two bedroom or three bedroom townhome styled in one of three decors; contemporary, traditional and Pacific Northwest.

The three bedroom townhomes include a front bedroom with a queen size bed and private bathroom with steam shower. This bedroom can be “locked off” from the rest of the home with its own private entrance, so it also includes a kitchenette.

The second bedroom is a spacious room with two twin size beds, a Jacuzzi tub and large bathroom.

And finally, the third bedroom is upstairs and features a king size bed, jacuzzi tub and primary suite.

The two bedroom units are similar in layout, minus the front bedroom that can be locked off.

All units come with high-end kitchens, wifi, TV’s in every room and other amenities that you’d expect from a resort.

Private Patios

Each townhome comes with a private patio, with many looking onto a nice green space or waterfall.

Depending on the time of year, these personal outdoor spaces invite residents to savor their morning coffee in the crisp Oregon air or unwind in the evening glow as the sun sets over the Cascade Mountains – a quintessential Pacific Northwest experience.

Fireplace Retreats

Every townhome at Stoneridge embraces the coziness we cherish during our cooler seasons.

The fireplace is a focal point, creating a cozy haven for assembling puzzles or drying off gloves and ski hats. No matter if it’s a brisk winter month or a cool summer evening, you can curl up with a book or simply bask in the warmth of these fireplaces.

Fully Equipped Kitchens

We travel as a family of six (including grandparents) so we need a spacious and well-stocked kitchen to feed a variety of tastes with home-cooked meals.

Every Stoneridge Townhome provides a fully equipped kitchen for you to cook delectable delights.

The kitchens are stocked with high-quality appliances and utensils, and provide the flexibility to craft our own culinary adventures. Not to mention a little baking as well.

Amenities For All

Stoneridge Townhomes has a large community building that features sitting rooms, a library, gym, sauna and a large outdoor pool and hot tub.

During the summer months they provide bicycles for guests and have two well managed tennis courts. There’s also a small jungle gym for the littles.

You’ll rarely feel like there isn’t enough to do.
